Hi Adam

Well I'll probably still see you around - not here but at Ryde !!!!

Thanks for all you have done here at Lewo. I have thoroughly enjoyed my five years here, not least because of the role you have played here as Deputy.
Your high standards and clear expectations for the boys, along with support of staff have helped to create a school where respect and tolerance prosper. Additionally, your pursuit of academic excellence has certainly made a difference in terms of the boys and their attitude to learning.

All the best of luck of Ryde, and good luck with that new deputy over there....

Cheers,
Charlotte xxx

Dear Adam

Congratulations again on your new placement.

I hope the journey ahead is filled with positive challenges as well as new opportunities.

On a personal note, I have appreciated your support and encouragement over the years – starting right from the day I commenced here. Your praise of the Primary school and continued inclusion has ensured we feel valued and part of this busy, bustling school. Your professionalism and attention to detail is something I have always admired. Thank you for the times I have sought your guidance and direction on matters – you just seem to get the job done, you are astute and provide fast, thoughtful feedback.

I have no doubt you will turn Ryde around in a very positive way, and those under your leadership will have clear, purposeful direction. Your command and presence at whole school assemblies in particular, I feel, will be missed. You have certainly left behind a culture of high standards and the need to strive for quality education. This I have come to learn, not only here at Lewisham, but from talking to many of your ex-students at St Pats too (one being my husband, Andrew) – what a small world!

Thanks for the friendly chats. I hope our paths cross again someday.

Regards and Sincerest Best Wishes

ajt,

Thanks for all your guidance you showed me as a new teacher at CBHS.
Wishing you a wonderful break and a blessed Christmas.

Life Lesson Number 342:
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Dear Adam,

The boys at CBHS have been truly blessed to have you as their teacher and leader. You have led with finesse through your expertise and obvious love of your students. The staff and students at Ryde are so fortunate to have the opportunity to grow under your guidance. Thank you for the times you have supported me both personally and professionally.

God Bless to you and your family,

Cathy Connor

Hi Adam,
Wishing you the very best in the future. Being the new principal will be a challenging job but one that I know you will step up to and do well. I have enjoyed our interactions and have respected your opinions and ideas and have enjoyed working with you.
I have admired the way that you have “gone to bat” for the boys who were finding the going tough at times. You always made it clear to these students that it was the behaviour that you did not like and not them personally. You were always ready to forgive and forget and to see the goodness possible from each and every one of them.
I hope you enjoy your time as principal. I am sure you will make your mark there over time. I know the parents in the area where I live with sons at Holy Cross are excited at the prospect of a new principal who will enforce certain standards that they feel is lacking a bit at the moment.

Whatever you do,
Do it to the best of your ability.
Do it with all your might
Positive things will happen.

All the best,
Glenis Gartrell

Dear Adam,

Congratulations on your new position as principal, you will be missed at Lewisham, although your departure does free up a nice corner office! It has been a pleasure to have worked with you and I wish you all the very best in your new school.

Dear Adam,

Congratulations on having nothing in common with Peter Costello or Al Gore. You are the main man.

It has been such a privilege and honour to have worked with you. Thank you for your support through the years. You inspired excellence and led by example.

(Remember to let people see the human side as well as the machine side.)

Best Wishes Always,
Yours in Paragraphs,
Margaret
